Crepes with halloumi cheese, mushroom filling and arugula
A new favorite recipe that you’ll want to make again and again! POP BAKERY crepes with wild mushroom filling, crispy halloumi cheese, arugula and chili flakes.
You will need:
- 1 Pop Bakery Crepes
- 2 packs of halloumi
- 500g forest mushrooms
- 500ml of heavy cream
- 4 French red onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 3-4 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of cornflour
- salt and pepper
- Olive oil
- 65 g arugula
- Chilli flakes
Preparation:
Cut the halloumi cheese into thin slices and bake in oil until golden brown.
Slice the mushrooms and mince the onion.
Cook them until soft.
Grate the garlic and add it to the pan along with the mushrooms.
Add the cream, soy and balsamic vinegar and simmer for a few minutes until the moisture levels are reduced.
Stir the cornflour into some water and add it to the filling. Allow to thicken and then add salt and pepper at the end.
Fill each crepe with the mushroom filling and halloumi cheese and top with arugula and chilli flakes.
Fold or roll them up according to preference.
